Don't hold your breath waiting for it.

Op-Ed's like this are not common. Expecting a more general change in position from liberals, let alone a more general change combined with a mea culpa, isn't likely to be fruitful.

Liberals should get with the program and admit that they were wrong all along.

This one issue if embraced by the democrats or at least if they stop trying to defeat the second amendment I fear could bring a lot more voters to their side of the aisle on other issues. I know a lot of one issue voters.
