I assume the correct English transliteration is the one posted on English language Iranian websites. It's not "my" spelling. If you are in the USA don't log on to check this out however or your IP will flag at NSA. You can take my word or ignore it. Regarding burkas, most Iranians husbands find black quite suitable, as it makes girlfriends and wives indistinguishable. In the fundamentalist Iranian viewpoint, once you give women a choice of color, they'll start to want more. Sure the women are oppressed by the mullahs, but surprisingly most accept it. The US is not the only nation sporting Stepford wives. wg PS - please no comments about women's right abroad. In this regard, one of the worst places I've visited is India and yet few complain.
