Neocons stole israeli policy of preemption for US use. Israel's neighborhood requires it to be fast on its feet. For US, one can pretend that iran is in need of preemptoin. Thats where you go all wrong chris. Israel is not making US policy. I bet that most israelis, though supportive of our Iraq policy and naively hopeful about a good outcome with iraq, were very skeptical. US hijacked israeli doctrine to build democracy in the region while protecting oil. Israel does what it does for self preservation although reasonable people can judge each occurrence separately to see if it meets the test. Nadine is no spokesperson for israel. She spins history in israels direction and is often right. What she is is a one person PR firm for the most extreme neocon position on FP now, in the past and for the future. Her views are often damn dangerous because war seems to be her answer to almost everything.
