Wayne, My guess is that nearly all of Paul's support comes from those on the left who realize that the war is the major issue in this election. Paul and Kucinich are the only anti-war candidates out there. Also, Paul is against torture, private armies, and trashing of The Constitution. True, we may disagree with him on domestic social issues, but those are not nearly as important this time around. Before we can actively help people, we have to stop killing them and getting them killed for no reason.

What is the wrong reason for being against a war that kills people for no reason? And wastes billions of dollars?

Sorry, Wayne, the reasonable right, if there ever was such a group of myth and legend,(perhaps Eisenhower Republicans, but most of them are in the ground) is pretty much non-existent now. Which is one reason why we don't have an Eisenhower weighing in on this stupid war the way he weighed in on the mismanaged, but not as stupid, Korean War.

The left sometimes goes too far for the right causes and right always goes too far for the wrong causes.
