This idea has great legs. A similar campaign grabbed attention with the state legislature when they voted themselves a huge pay increase at 3am. Outraged taxpayers started to wear pig snouts wherever their legislator was scheduled to make a local appearance. The snouts were accompanied with snorts, which finally blossomed into a humungous inflatable pink pig that was positioned in front of the state capitol bldg, for a "takeback the payraise" voter rally. It worked...within days the state lawmakers rescinded their greedy payraise. Citizens can make a difference when they make the required effort to do so.
