Furthermore, the alleged "terrorists" also have to have an agenda other than "they don't like our freedoms". That's why I believe it is necessary to examine the War on Terror in terms of cui bono , who benefits, rather than a preoccupation with the in-one's-face violence. And then one can see that Al Qaeda, bin Laden, whoever, are merely fall guys, and that's if they exist at all. > Israel is just a convenient vehicle...a patsy...a front...a shell company...a cutout. As I have said, I don't see it that way. I believe Israel and the Zionists are serious players, not merely pawns. But I will accept they they are not the only players and they are not the biggest players. But they are certainly the most vociferous. I also accept that Israel's continued and insoluble "problems" do provide a pretext for the militarism. > Most so-called alternative media sites are connected with various thinktanks run by CFR/Bilderburg member-run groups and are just as controlled But who is doing the controlling if not the think tanks? Aren't they the "bad guys"? > Controlling both sides of an issue is another tool employed. Likewise, selling arms to both sides in a war. But that's what the arms dealers have always done -- and the US is the biggest arms dealer of all. > Henry Kissinger and other Nixon administration officials You frequently mention Kissinger and Co as being the "bad guys". I would suggest they are no more than functionaries, operatives if you will, and that we still don't know who the "bad guys" are, the ones who REALLY benefit from it all? Sure, the Pilger video suggests 200 giant corporations control a quarter of the world's economy, but does that mean that every large corporation is, by definition, a gangster?! I find that hard to believe. And even if we do identify the large corporations with undesirable practices, who exactly in those corporations are the criminals -- the CEO, the directors, the managers, the stockholders, the banks that hold their debt? You say we know who they are. I say you have identified certain front personalities and possibly certain corporations -- and that's all.
