There's "a genius behind the stupidity"

I agree. Can't quite figure it out yet, or I have.
George is decent in some ad-lib situations. Then other times, when I know it's scripted (Karl) he makes guffaws like a fool.

Would America hold him more responsible if we perceive him as intelligent?

Been thinking on this for years now.
In your life, when you spot the "con" of a salesman your ears perk up.
The dude has lost you as a salesman. You won't allow him back into your life.

I think that George is smarter than he portrays himself as.
When we make fun of his speech we also are granting him a certain pardon for just being a fool.
Who's the fool? He's got billions of dollars tucked away somewhere.

Where's his "con"? Right smack dab in our face?
