>>Ron Paul had a huge quarter, all the political blogs are all over this:<<<

Yes he did...oddly enough in the polls he's at the same level nationwide that he was in April. But he has a lot of extremely committed supporters, the kind who will switch parties to vote for him in the primary (I'm one of them). I think he'll do well in states like New Hampshire and Oregon, where voters have a fierce independent streak. He'll do relatively well in Arizona, because there's a large libertarian faction here. He may even do well in California because of the internet factor, but that's a leap of faith and I don't think he's spent much time there so far. I think it's a victory if his message keeps getting broadcast...

I've been a Libertarian since before there was a party. I learned there was a party in July 1976 the 200th Anniversary of the USA.

I'm still a little angry at Paul because the Libertarians gave him the nomination 15 or 20 years ago over an erudite black guy (forgot his name) who was a fantastic speaker. They gave it to Paul as a thank you. Nominating the first black guy might have changed everything. Especially this guy who was a talented speaker.

I'll end up voting for him most likely.
