Great overview, UW.... We've only been in the Boise/Eagle area to drive, but I've been in SV.... I made a mistake in typing when I said McCall "near" Sun Valley....I should have said McCall AND Sun Valley.... I still haven't been to McCall.

So they do have a State Income Tax, eh? We don't here in WA State, but the Dems have been hot on that trail for years and years....However we do have a 9% sales tax on nearly everything, and lots of other taxes on top of that on just about everything. Our gas tax is right up near the top in the Nation. It 18.4 cents per gal for the National tax on gas, and an additional 34 cents per gal for the State tax on gas....

Do you miss the NW, or are you glad to be back in NC?

The ski resort is called Brundage. We stayed and skied there one day after leaving Sun Valley. They were having their world famous Ice Sculpturing contest then. The town was packed.......we were lucky to get a room. I think they are a bit higher than Sun Valley because the conditions were much better at Brundage.
