It got up to 86 here today in Albany. I think that all ends tomorrow though. Bummer.

"You walk on one of those machines, right? Why not walk in the real world? Never did get that."

I never got it either. Having had jobs where lifting weighty objects was part of the job, and getting buff was a benefit, I never got weightlifting either. Or climbing endless stair machines, etc.

Well, when it is 100+, the dew point is in the 80s and there is no wind, it is a good way to die...

Well, ok. Not a particularly good way. Not like being in your 80s in bed with 4 young, beautiful women. Now that is a good way to die...

re: The worst part is the gym....

You walk on one of those machines, right? Why not walk in the real world? Never did get that.

Seattle is pretty hilly which can get problematical for someone with asthma. To get to a flat place, I have to drive.....so why not go to the gym where I can also work out with the free weights.

The dew point here today was 78 degrees, mid-summer sh-t. The cold fronts just are not coming.

Mid summer? Wow. Its just the opposite of here. For this time of year, its very cold. I was watching the Yankees/Indian game yesterday, and I was surprised at how lightly dressed everyone was. They say it will warm up later this week......we can only hope.
