Many problems with prostitution, the boys don't learn to form relations with girls, among other things. Might be easier to have a cultural expectation that girls will have more than one boyfriend until they get VERY serious. Just because 70 million girls were thrown away doesn't mean it is okay to trash the future of 70 million boys so things will balance. ***** Too bad the hospital guy didn't get fined 10,000 dollars and 3 days in jail a few years ago... I expect he might have been told to stop what he was doing, however. Not that I am sympathetic to the hospital guy, but there would have been more girls alive today. Of course, that hospital administrator is an illustration that the greatest threat to China is internal. 98 to 2 is - shocking - I can't think of the words.
