Seems to me you're interpreting James' words just as you wish to, Ms. Honey. That's ok, you're entitled. But you're not entitled to present your own or any else's guesses and opinions as unquestionable fact.

Ms queen...thank goodness readers can read what Dr. James actually said about the Bob Brinker's [sic]. His words stand on their own.

Yes indeed, ms. honey. His words stand on their own as his opinions. And he himself clearly describes each of those opinions as his GUESSES, doesn't he? What parts of James' terms "looks to me" and "my guess is" (twice) are unclear to you as opinion rather than fact etched in stone?

<<I especially like the following paragraph. It has been a very long time since anyone has been quite so ACCURATE about the Bob Brinker's. Dr James wrote:

"My guess is Bob would (if it were legally possible) shut down any fair discussion of his past and present published and spoken ideas/opinions/prognostications
Fair commentary on them when it reaches a lot of subscribers undermines Bob's ability to use doubletalk, coverups, and other spin attempts to appear more prescient than he clearly is."

--Honey, on another board tonight you posted a recap of Bob's Sunday radio program.

In that recap, you quoted Bob as making MANY, MANY BOLD statements that could not possibly be spun later.

I also seem to recall him stating in the newsletter many months ago that there was NO POSSIBILITY of a bear market in 2007.

Hmmmm. Seems maybe Dr. James is exaggerating and...dare I say
it, BASHING!

Seems to me that you are also getting a little CARRIED AWAY in your effusive PRAISE of this Dr. James.

Of course, Bob, like any human who ever lived, sometimes says things that are not cut and dried, and sometimes he later spins those statements to make himself look good.

Who hasn't?

But he also often makes bold, clear, concise and rather courageous statements.

Dr. James and, I believe, Ms. Honey, are looking a little too hard for things to bash.

Ms. Honeybeer SAYS that Dr. James WROTE:

My guess is Bob would (if it were legally possible) shut down any fair discussion of his past and present published and spoken ideas/opinions/prognostications. Fair commentary on them when it reaches a lot of subscribers undermines Bobs ability to use doubletalk, coverups, and other spin attempts to appear more prescient than he clearly is."

PMFA, but are these not the bashers talking points, word-for-word?
