Hi Hawk,

If one looks ay how long the carry trade has survived, then add that to your vendor finance concept, betting against a continuation of the status quo looks like a long term loser.

Globalization is just another word of transferring wealth to other regions ,while not deteriorating the lifestyle of those transfering the wealth.

It has one long term transformation - It has decimated the ranks of non government unions.

As all of the politicians side on the poor laborer with their rhetoric - they continue the destruction of the unions,as the unions greed, ultimately destroys our american manufacturing base and adds to the roles of the unemployed.

One thing politicians can't stand is increased liabilities that limit their power.

Displaced strikers joining the unemployment lines and social welfare systems along with retirees being added to the Pension benefit guaranty trust is not the power base building they look forward to.
