I made a posting to one of the SI-related threads this morning asking who should be contacted about changing the ticker symbols for this thread from SUNW to JAVA. Even though the stock symbols have changed, this thread should remain the Sun Microsystems thread--the company is the same. The stock symbols should be changed, though, so new investors can easily find it. Edit: That other thread you mention was started in 1996. The 2007 posting you mention is the only post-1996 one. So, in my mind this remains the 'real' Sun Microsystems thread. Edit #2: SI is going to have to do some fixing. There is a thread where the stock symbols are JAVA, some coffee company that must have been taken-out or gone bankrupt because the last posting is from 1998: Subject 13697 Lynn
