Ot tuna- I know you are with scottrade so I am asking you this ?. I recently started trading a small acct. for my sister with the goal being enough money monthly to pay for health insurance since she is retiring. she opened the acct. with scottrade and the first trade I made for her I closed Friday after 5 days and the settlement notice said 6 days! wth is that? amertrade is 3. Is that typical or does it have to do with the banks being closed today? thank so much for any info you can give me-
