<<I've never seen Favre light off on a coach in public until that boneheaded calling of a time out at the end of the first half.>>

I'm so glad to hear you say that. I really thought I was the only one that believed Favre was right.

When I was a kid my grandpa told me to never raise a fist to another man. He followed that by saying "but when life leaves you no other alternative you give that person an ass kicking they'll never forget."

Sounds harsh but I believe it to be true.

My point last night I *think* you may agree with even if it sounds harsh.

When you knock a guy (or in this case a team) on his ass you don't wait for that entity to get up and resume the battle. You dive on them and continue the ass kicking until its finished.

We didn't finish the ass kicking, we had too many turnovers and McCarthy made a mistake. I still think he's coaching at a level beyond what I expected - I like him - he's got spunk!
