As for today's AAPL gap, no way of telling whether or not it will be filled today...Given the strength throughout the day...so far...looking very much like it will NOT be filled today...and therefore likely to be a significant technical feature of the advance since August..as I said...a measuring gap likely here.. On balance, probably correct to say that most gaps are filled...The question is: when ???.... Might take 3 hours, 3 days, 3 weeks, 3 months, 3 years...or longer..A common mistake IMHO to assume that gaps must be filled fairly quickly, and to plan trades on that assumption..
