That's silly Elroy. The standard is bearing arms openly, not having nice pressed uniforms. Go read the conventions. And check out what they have to say about saboteurs who operate in civilian disguise. Yeah, so all the people at Gitmo bore arms openly in the war between Afghanistan's leadership and the coalition, which the coalition won, quickly. This was a war where they were the defense and the coalition was on offense, in their country, so bearing arms is not that egregious a reaction. And that war is over. We won, they lost. Meanwhile, lets not discuss saboteurs who operate in civilian disguise since we don't know if any of the Gitmo detainees were saboteurs operating in civilian disguise. Their only charge is unlawful combatant, and the only thing unlawful about them is that they didn't have uniforms. It's totally ridiculous.
