I know you right wingers use war as a form of birth control and military on-the-job training, but those of us on the left have a bit more of a thought process about something of this gravity. We believe you should only go to war when you are threatened or attacked. Saddam was no threat to us and he hadn't attacked us or his neighbors. And, even if threatened, war is the last tactic you employ. Bush not only used it as his first tactic, but his only tactic. The arms inspectors, who were right while Bush was wrong, were discredited by the right wing slime machine, so that Bush could have his glorious days of slaughtering a country too poor and weak to be called third world. The U.N. meetings were jokes and Bush thoroughly dissed the rest of the world. Colin Powell lied to them that he knew where the WMD were located.
