When the revolution comes, it's easy for the mob to over-rule the cash flow. It happens regularly, as you know from personal experience. <cannot argue with cashflow, not easily >

It's easy too. The mob just picks up pitch forks and heads to town with tumbrils. Cash flow is just a flow of promises and promises are only valuable while the counterparties agree to provide the promised.

When the promises are made by politicians or electorates, one should be very wary and keep a clear path to the exit. Hmmm, I had better be careful or I'll find myself checking the price of gold again. When I see huge stacks of promises by indebted people and the power-mad, I discount said promises heavily.
