Because this is AMD fantasy land. AMD is awash in so much cash they have recently increased their hiring, R&D, and capital expenditures. Their profits are so high that a few hundred million won't make a difference in the annual statement. Dave Orton was so thrilled about the synergies that he left. Why do you bring up such obscure advanced technology issues such as arithmetic?
