Politicians seem to want to register everybody they can and don't seem to mind dead people voting. I'm sure they don't mind welfare people voting either.

How about we have a law that the voters set politicians' pay instead of themselves? I wonder how many people would run for office then?

Whoa, I have got to do a better job of proof reading my posts before submitting them.

I still like ownership as the determining factor for who votes. But, that is just my opinion and it is highly doubtful that congress will ever overturn that nice list of voting rights legislation you mentioned. It would be a conflict of interest for them.
