Unless you have gotten involved in the nitty gritty business
of putting IP to use defensively and offensively you are on
the outside of the door listening with a puzzled look.

I haven't personally testified, but I've prepared references and
documents on prior art for litigators. I've also been asked to
help people negotiating IP swaps and been briefed by patent
lawyers on litigation issues.
