re: it seems to me that the larger your legal dept, the closer you get to the line because that's what they're paid for. to push the line as much as "legally" possible. but there is also a conflict because they're employees too so what the management wants to do sometimes drives what the legal dept "thinks" is legal. Quite obvious you haven't listened when people have described Intel's corporate culture. For example, if you worked at Intel (not that you'd ever be hired) you'd be out on your a** so fast with that kind of thinking, you'd still be looking for your first check. Smooth
