I have the thing classified under "Wine snobs not as hot as they like to think they are and if it doesn't taste like vinegar and in fact tastes okay, it's good enough wine". Have only 8 or 9 years dulled your memory sufficiently such that you've forgotten your penchant for Cloudy Bay? I bought a bottle of the CB Sauvignon Blanc even though I rarely drink white wines on the basis of your recommendations. Very nice stuff. You can taste the salt in the air of the bay. It's the damndest thing. Delicious. I have since then occassionally tasted other Marlborough whites, and found them uniformly excellent. Wine snobs 'r us.
