It could be more folks with deep pockets were the buyers of these condos? 10% drop is nothing... I track SW Florida too and I would venture to say it is the worst hit housing market since the great depression by now.. Houses worth $250-275k now fetch $115-130k at most and are back to early 2003 prices.. I would have thought Miami and Vegas high rise condos would have had that kind of crash by now.. Certainly Las Vegas Blvd is an interesting place to own a nice condo or two at the right price..There will be some incredible deals there on some distressed government forced auctions next year..
