Given the propensity of China's bosses to kill people they consider criminals, then divvy up their body parts for the profit of those getting hold of them, I can imagine suicide is a better way out than painfully forced confessions and all the unpleasantness leading up to being shot in the back of the head in a stadium or wherever they do it to make examples of people.

<So the Chinese can develop a "culture of responsibility" after all?>

A single person doesn't prove a trend. It's a start, but not a trend.

the man in question was apparently a good guy, always paid his bills on time, treated his workers well, well respected by his staff, but was forced to the wall by financial demise, could not see the big picture, etc etc
