Generally, my impressions about the debate were quite similar. I'd add that Mike Huckabee sounds like a smart and interesting person. McCain did appear a little subdued, that's true... maybe he a little too moody for the job. Anyone can be moody, but he sort of shows it.

i felt Thompson looked tired , bags under the eyes and yes, old. He also looked unprepared, as if he didn't have handlers to do dry run debates etc for the last couple of months. something he should have been doing but perhaps the sign confirms he is lay back. It showed imo outside being nervous , he was not sharp.

Paul continues to confirm he is a loose cannon. It would be nice to see him drop out but he will fight to the end or as long as his follows continue to send him money.

Rudy showed his nyc character telling cnbc marie to pick her head up. An example of what to expect from off the cuff Rudy, reminds of working back in nyc.g
