We weren't talking about design flaws, Jay, we were talking about lead paint, and other poisons. These are two entirely different things. Actually, they aren't. The design includes the detail specifications which would include a callout on finishes. The problem is that China has not as yet outlawed the use of lead base paints. It is a paint that is customarily used there. Consequently, when Mattel left it to the mfr to finish in the cheapest possible way. That is lead base.....and poor design.
