"Young people do not vote!"

Young people voted for Gene McCarthy and George McGovern in similar circumstances. It might be more accurate to say that young people haven't voted yet, but will adopt the habit before they become senior citizens, who vote heavily.

Ork was reporting his observation that young people at Univ of Michigan responded well to Ron Paul. The enthusiastic YouTube and Face Book and MySpace users are also predominantly young. Perhaps there is something in the message that we should not waste nor mortgage their futures that inspires them to become active.

these kids were all in college. my son is in college and he plans on voting. all of his friends plan on voting.

they feel sick seeing their future destroyed and every one of them is going to do what he/she can to change that.
