Absolutely correct. In addition jumbo money over 417,000 is more difficult to get.

Maybe 25-40% cut in new home loan qualifiers.

Don't count on it thou - got foreign demand in FL? Pound is
flying high, these Miami condos are dirt cheap compared to RE
prices in London. Foreign dollar holders might consider swapping
their holdings for some tangible assets in the US, such as RE.
Besides, that RE chart does look so horrible, it's almost time
for a bounce. I'm not saying a cure. -g-
