Ann, Limbaugh is full of horse puckey. You know it and I know it. And please note......Media Matters.....what you called a left wing org......it was founded by a conservative journalist. The more I post with you the more I see that you have few real facts at your disposal.

Here's more explanation re. what Rush said in regards to the soldiers.........now you're going to read the truth now, not some concoction put together by Rush's associates......so brace yourself:

"So here's a quick lesson in journalistic standards. Even though in a column I'm giving opinions, I strive to make them informed opinions. To Mr. Urgo and Ms. Polidura, I did indeed find the original story from Media Matters, though calling them a "left-wing hate group" is a little strong (it was actually founded by a former conservative journalist).

And yes, I did go to Limbaugh's site and see and listen to the transcript. Guess what I found? Limbaugh does indeed claim he was speaking about the imposter soldier and you know what, he did. But alas, Limbaugh neglected to mention that he edited his own show of Sept. 26 — but Media Matters taped the March 26 show and had the goods in the form of the missing "phony soldiers" segment.

In terms of chronology, he referred to the imposter Jesse MacBeth AFTER he referred to GIs who had turned against the war as phony soldiers while talking to another caller. Limbaugh selectively edited out that sequence of Sept. 26 when he went on the air Sept. 28 to attack Media Matters and claimed to replay the entire segment in question. You can go to this site (www.mediamatters.com) and hear the clips in question and judge for yourself.

I'm puzzled by this: How can anyone be surprised at this given Limbaugh's venom toward anyone, serving or not, who disagrees with him on Iraq? He's slimed two decorated Vietnam War combat veterans — Republican Sen. Chuck Haegel of Nebraska and Democrat Rep. John Murtha of Pennsylvania — for daring to think the Iraq war has been a disaster of historical proportions and trying to change the course of madness. His legacy of endlessly trumping up the Swift Boat lies against John Kerry in 2004 speaks for his dedication to a cult-like truth only he has access to."

There you go again, oh ye of little facts. Limbaugh never accused Fox of faking Parkinson's;

Huh? This is what Limbaugh said:

"He is exaggerating the effects of the disease," Limbaugh told listeners. "He's moving all around and shaking and it's purely an act. . . . This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn't take his medication or he's acting."

washingtonpost.com

Only a human of the lowest order would make such a comment about someone with Parkinson's. So why are you defending him, Ann? Do you have no character? I am embarrassed that another American would defend such a comment. Here's M. Fox not much more than 40 with Parkinson's..... a disease that usually doesn't strike people until they are near 60...his career all but destroyed.....resigned to a limited life. And you condone Rush's comments? Where is your moral compass, Ann? Because you really need to find it.....badly!

although Michael Fox admitted he deliberately neglected to take his medicine pre his congressional testimony, which was a deliberate manipulation of the media.

How is being truthful about your disease manipulation? Manipulation is used when one is trying to sell a lie, not the truth.

That was exactly the point Limbaugh made in his remarks about Fox. As usual, the double standard msm grabbed those words and twisted them to suit their own political template. Now we know your political purview--Liberals get a pass on being frauds, and Repubs must refrain from exposing a Democrat's shameless manipulation of the truth.

Ann, you are the double standard.......your pundits can say whatever filth comes out of their mouths and you defend them. But let a centrist or liberal say the same thing and your all over them.

Again, you need to find your moral compass. You are beginning to sound like another Ann........who is despised by most in this country.
