Odd how someone can say with such certainty that "the argument didn't work"... when they are simply giving their opinion or their spin of that argument.

Obviously there is no reason in the world to doubt Brinker cancelled a newsletter because he was offended by what a poster said about him. He did that to other posters especially when he couldn't take the heat and shut down his discussion board.

I suppose some would say that Bob Brinker didn't shut down the boards but then of course they would not be telling the truth.

The truth is that Brinker has the thinnest of skins, is a primmadonna deluxe as his posts and anger on the radio when crossed have proven over and over.

The simple fact is that the poster had been critical of Brinker but there seems to be no evidence of any leaking of any information ..therefore it is most logical that Brinker knowing the guy wasn't going to resubscribe (James said so) took his only revenge and cancelled his last few newsletters.

Could something else have happened? possibly, but it wouldn't be as plausible. Therefore only you and other Brinker supporters see it as an "argument that didn't work". LOL Spin spin spin!

Ms. queen...it might be a little risky to base your opinion about what others in "general" think about this subject based on your subjective, flimsy and IMO, totally erroneous opinions of why the subject "died."

There are several other more reasonable conclusions one could reach as to why the subject "died." The most important being that the subject had been thoroughly covered and was on the verge of becoming repetitious.

Ms. queen, you said: "........if you're basing that opinion on on-air personality. I believe, and I think most people know, that on-air personality of public figures can be different than private behavior."
.
Now that is a very surprising comment, Ms queen.

Firstly: Isn't it logical to assume that the "on-air personality" would most likely be the NICEST one a person had to offer?

Secondly: Why would you assume that Bob Brinker's "on-air personality" would show a "not-nice" side that did not exist when he is NOT on the air? Please be specific, if you don't mind.

..

"I believe, and I think most people know, that on-air personality of public figures can be different than private behavior."

Indeed. Just ask Mel Gibson after he's had a few....

I'm saying that all the "evidence" and charges presented as to the improper motives or actions on the part of Brinker are solidly ensconced in the Brinkerbasher OPINION category.

Are you saying Brinker canceled my subscription for some other reason than was offered at the time?

Are you saying Brinker canceled Rande Spiegelman's subscription for some other reason than was offered at the time?

Dr Jay reported his subscription was canceled for "sharing information online." Why should we not think Brinker didn't like Dr Jay sharing this statement?

"With Bob Brinker's help I managed to underperform the overall stock market from about 1990 through the end of 2002. In 2003 I did very well because I put all my "cash reserves" into equities on March 10th and 11th. By following Kirk's strategy (with a few twists) I've managed to outperform the overall stock market from the start of 2004 to the present."

Would you like to volunteer to write a warning for me to post at the Bob Brinker Fan Club Blog to Marketimer subscribers about what is and is not allowed for discussion on message boards?
