Chris, I'm sure you believe that Darwin is in control of everything. We're all just a product of chance.

Just like that one pilot of a twin engine aircraft who had to crash land near a highway. The plane pretty much disintegrated around him, yet he survived. This was last week.

He said he was agnostic before, but not anymore. Must be another adult who just can't seem to live without those "childish comforts."

"As a child, I was told of Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

As an adult, I learned not to believe in imaginary beings..."

Seems to me that Fairies told you too many stories.

Like I said to you in a previous post, you must live a sad, lonely life. Who are you to criticize those who find comfort in their beliefs? My uncle never believed in God. But as he lay on his death bed trembling in pain as chunks of his diseased stomach were siphoned out, he looked to Heaven asking God to help put an end to his unbearable pain.

The point being that mankind needs someone they could look to in times of difficulty. That "someone" is what gives many the hope they need to get them through. Take away hope and you soon realize how meaningless our existence really is.

Whether you like it or not, you too will one day look at the heavens and seek relief from the unknown.
