Kyros, we can go back and get the posts if you like, but the argument was about keeping them up, rather than keeping them positioned and orientated.

Do you really think I, who had spent a LOT of time arguing about the technical details of the Globalstar satellites would think that fuel wasn't needed to keep the satellites on track? What would you think I thought fuel might be needed for?

CB was arguing about staying up there, not staying on course and pointing the right way. But I am getting the dogs barking!!

Since I am still in the thick of bloody Globalstar, and a launch is due on 25 October, perhaps it's timely to stir up the Globalstar business again.

Globalstar has been one of the world's great commercial catastrophes, with $billions pointlessly down the gurgler. Which is insignificant compared with Iraq's disaster, but still real money for investors.

Unfortunately, the financial orbit continues to decay. It needs fuel to keep it up. Or photovoltaic wings if that'll help. A wing and a prayer!
