I am ready to leave, rather than be baned-lol, or have people think I am trying to start problems.

I will answer this one question and then stop unless I know I can answer without a ban. I will not initiate any posts at all that way no one an accuse me of "trolling"-lol.

"I don't want to see you go. I'd like to know more about the symbolance of self-actualization.'

Abraham Maslow is famous for his hierarchy of needs pyramid. After one has enough to eat and sheltor, security, etc then they work on developing wisdom through learning. It is an amorphouse existential idea, but a good concept.

And it involves existentialism, quantum reality and the theory of relativity..

"The gay marriage issue isn't really about marriage at all, it's just another effort to radicalize society. All the perks and benefits that married couples get are available through civil unions."

Well, yes it is an effort to "radicalize" society, just as the afe fo reason pulled us out of the "Dark Ages".

Can you not understand why a gay person would want exactly the same thing as you. They want to marry the one they love. Why would you deny them that?

That is just plain mean!

If one TRULY seeks truth, they must be prepared to confront it!

In the words of James Joyce: "it takes the fiercest sort of courage to look truth fully in th face".

And with that I leave you. Good luck and good night.

"Only serious posters here" and you would ban me for a few ideas you do not like. My, my.
