Phil > One would think that Jews would rise up as one all over the world to loudly support this resolution. After all, who knows more about genocide?

That's precisely the reason they don't/won't support it -- they want to be exclusive. The Jews must remain the only people EVER to have experienced a holocaust. If other people eg Armenians, Russians in WW2 who lost 50 million, Rwandans, Cambodians under Pol Pot, could claim to have experienced a holocaust then the Zionist claim to the Palestinian land becomes a hollow argument because no one else uses the holocaust argument to lay claim to someone else's property. Moreover, there must be no discussion about the Jewish Holocaust -- only the official version can be accepted, any discussion or argument about the Holocaust is considered hate speech and is criminalized in many countries.
