Unbelievable!!! I truly am amazed. They still produce tetraethyl lead for use in petrol. I am flabbergasted. It's beyond belief. It is insane that Mattel can be going through the hoops while TEL is being pumped out as though it's a good thing. <Octane Additives Innospec is the world’s only producer of tetraethyl lead (TEL). I can't believe it. The "environment" couldn't care less about lead. It is important to children for their brain development that lead is not sprayed around their lives. The economies of no countries depend on TEL. The economies of all countries are harmed by TEL and I would love them to sic their lawyers onto me to deny my assertion. I would just love to see them put a value on IQ points of the people who ingest their atoms of lead. I would love to see them argue the value of said IQ points compared with a few exhaust valves in rusty old cars. I would like to see their data on the cost of lead pollution of the engine oil. I would enjoy to debate the combustion chamber deposits and use of carcinogenic lead scavengers used to reduce octane requirement increase due to the combustion chamber deposits. I would like to see their data on fuel efficiency with lead compared to without. It's unbelievable. That is quarter of a century after it was undeniably true that brains are damaged by lead in petrol more than the purported value of the use of lead in engines. <we will continue to supply TEL for as long as it is required. > TJ, they pretend to be helping, they pretend to be do-gooders!! Unbelievable. I would refuse to supply both Mattel and fuel producers with lead. If they don't like it, too bad. I would supply them alternatives, of which there are plenty.
