Well, if your religion's soundness is based on time their Gods were worshiped, the ancient Egyptians have Christianity beat by a mile! I guess to you, their Gods must really rate. Or take Hinduism - it's timeline stretches back 8,000 years! atheism.about.com Who says I believe that our existence is pure chance? The truth is, I have no idea how we came into existence, but don't feel the need to believe fables told to me by others with as little real knowledge as I possess to explain it. Just shut up and have faith we're told! To me, it seems as just likely that our world was seeded long ago by experimenting intelligent aliens who were more advanced than we are, but hardly Gods. We'll probably try it ourselves within a few hundred years. We've already discovered extremeophile bacteria that could live on some parts of Venus and Mars, and with genetic engineering, who knows?
