Before Ramadan starts, they call/email me and say Ramadan is date X to date Y, and Eid starts on day Z - make sure u are available to join us for Eid.

That sounds pretty normal. How would it be if they waited until the night before the possible start, and told you then whether it was tomorrow or the day after tomorrow? Or do you also plan vacation days around ballpark dates like Sarman?
