Re-using plastic bottles is unhealthy. I remember reading something to the effect that plastic causes bacteria to form in the bottles.

Maybe the solution is going back to glass bottles.

As far as tap water, many larger cities have aging aqueducts systems. The tap water we are drinking may not be all that safe.

Good idea. I simply use a filter on my tap and get the benefits of great tasting water with fluoride in it for my kids AND I don't have to pay for bottled water.
