I realize many Democrats don't care much for Bush and some even advocate impeachment, but for those that do, would they like President Cheney any better?

Blind respect is what you are advocating!

Psychosis is not an extension of neurosis. It often happens very fast. Should society not remove any president if they become psychotic or show judgement detrimental to the society?

There are procedures for that.

Are you saying Bush is psychotic? Or that he shows judgment detrimental to the society (a much more amorphous standard, I hope you'd admit) If you contend that the President should be removed because you believe he shows tendencies that are detrimental to society, then I would say (1) that is not the proper standard for removing a sitting president, (2) there are just as many, if not more, that disagree with you, and (3) it ain't going to happen, so give it up.

I was advocating respecting the office of the President. One of your earlier posts clearly showed disrespect for the office, and, to many of us here, telegraphed that you are no different from the folks on certain other threads (as well as Daily Kos and Democratic Underground) who seem to spend their time venting their spleen at the President. If you want to be a liberal voice for change, lose the BDS. It's unbecoming of someone who claims to be governed by rational thought.

Let it go. Let it go and be free. The Democratic nominee, whoever she is, will not be running against George W. Bush. In little more than a year, George W. Bush will no longer be president.
