Hong Kong is free in all sorts of ways which NZ is not. But in many ways that matter, NZ is more free.

In the meantime, NZ is losing freedom daily, but it's still not as bad as Myanmar and far, far better than Zimbabwe. But NZers are considering ditching the Union Jack and the flag, which will no doubt mean adopting a banana republic design to go along with the banana republic and cargo cult economic ideas of NZers.

Meanwhile, at least the air is pure enough to breathe and there are lots of natural attributes worth enjoying.
