Bong'n'snort thinks that private charities will provide a sufficient social safety net. Little does he know, charities are often pork-barrel organizations run by scam artists. Also, I'm sure he'd not want any govt. interference in the form of regulating charities in their tax-free status (hence the scam artists can turn any for-profit enterprise into a "charity"). The ONLY social safety net is social security. Preserve it, enhance it and keep it away from private hands.
