The percentage of taxpayers may be close to 40%, but that is mostly because of children and non-working wives etc. The percentage of voters is well below 70%.

I guess we have to agree to disagree if you think "voters who don't pay federal income taxes" are a large swing vote.

Well, better to it before we reach the point of no return, where taxpayers are a minority, unable to ever force this kind of discipline.


We better do it soon for a lot of good reasons. The minority taxpayer voters isn't one of them. Relax Jozef, the very poor are not living like kings on your tax dollars.
