Nice response. Hadn't even thought of it in terms of the South African gold miners. However, since gold is almost its own currency, with its price has gone the opposite direction of the dollar, I wouldn't really say their revenues are dollar-denominated.

Same goes for the foreign oil producers. The price of oil is rising in dollar terms; oil is effectively its own currency. Dollar weakness means oil strength when priced in dollars. Their costs are of course not dollar-based either, I think I'd consider their revenues to be oil-based.
