An interesting observation. Here is another real life observation.

On 5/02/2005 PLNI closed at .0038 per share.

On 5/06/2005 the poster below made a comment about the stock moving up. I am not defending the poster, merely the comment made.

By 5/23/2005 the stock had hit a high of .0199 per share, a 5X bagger from 5/02/2005.

I believe that the SI personal attack comment about "pumper clowns" and general defense of "a dozen folks" who poke holes in the hype, shown in response over two years later, are very interesting. It places in perspective the possibility that the venue as part of the manipulation is possible, and that being unbiased has it's limits when "a dozen" people are involved on SI. One must always consider the venue as being a perfect host for stock manipulation.

Just saw the "Game Over" board.

One in a very long string.

Are you starting to get a fuzzy picture why your complaints about being called a "pumper clown" so often fell on deaf ears?

It's a sad fact of life that message boards, all of them, get used this way. But the silver lining is that for every pumper clown, though there may be hundreds of cheerleaders and Kool-Aid drinkers, there are about a dozen folks poking holes in the hype for those wise enough to listen to both sides, and we're among the sites that encourages both sides.

And those who only sipped the Kool-Aid may get a bit sick, but they tend to recover and join the hole-pokers and learn that the most valuable trait when investing is skepticism.

Hey, SI - is that what is called a BULLS BOARD comment?

Sounds kinda the opposite to me.

Comments?

I think you might want to look at the stock chart to place that post in context. In May of 2005 the poster's comment may have had some relevance. I personally think your two year old response is totally irrelevant to current events and represents the sort of propaganda that ill serves SI and the honest posters who spend their money here.
