Right, they've admitted troops will need to stay in Iraq at least until 2013. Their sheep don't seem to care.

The Bush GOP is responsible for the disaster in Iraq, not democrats. Even those who voted to give Bush war powers after 9-11 were lied to by the White House and also bullied in the press. Their real mistake was trusting Bush-Cheney at all.

The way the Bush GOP slandered war hero Max Cleland was meant to be a warning to any democrat who dared question their lies and fascist-like invasion fantasies. Those democrats in red states still have to worry about these kind of threats since the rightwing controls the majority of the media in their states, but most do not. The rightwing is also very well funded and perfectly willing to smearvet anyone, no matter how dishonestly.

Hillary would probably run with Wes Clark and put him in charge of ending the Iraq mess. He would be the best posible guy for the job. She also knows the GOP likes to attack anything feminine and pretend they have the balls, while their senators hit on men in bathrooms. A lot of that comes from the gun lobby which is now part of the rightwing GOP and run by fascist type redneck extremists not that differeent from Timothy McVeigh, our greatest hjomegrown terrorist.
