I have reduced my exposure to financials also but still own some regional bank stocks, foremost the mutual conversion stocks HTWC and HBNK. I approach most regional bank stocks from a tactical side for a trade, as they offer good short term trading opportunities.

I am getting fed up with C, one of my larger positions, although i have reduced this position also a while ago Now I am reading in the WSJ about SIV bailout orchestrated by a group of banks and surprise, C is of course in the middle of it with 100B$ of those. From my perspective they have been able to hit every pothole in the road for almost 2 years now. The newest management shakeout does not help much either to increase my confidence. I think it's time to chop heads at the very top.
