Poor Ben? He was not forced into the job. Rather, he was in training at the WH prior to that. And he made his aspirations quite clear in being politically correct (he would not have been nominated otherwise). Ben strikes me every bit a panderer and egoistical as 'Easy Al'. And some smugness to go with it (replacing the nonsensical senile greenspeak). Why postpone the pain (recession) and inflict it on future generations? Can we have Volcker back please? (i can dream on)
